Tibetan

The Tibetan is simply a Tonkinese with the long haired gene. Tibetans, over the years, have been known as Tiffany, or other names! People often ask us to describe the Tibetan breed’s personality. The Tibetan personality is similar to the Tonkinese except, like the Balinese, the longer hair seems to tame the personality down a little. The Tibetan has the low allergy qualities of the Balinese but, comes in long haired versions of the Tonkinese Colors. The personality is very dog like, but not as “needy” as Tonkinese. Tibetan kittens are a great addition to almost any home looking for a longer haired kitten. Their hair is more “feathery” than “poofy” when full grown.

These two kittens illustrate the difference between the Tonkinese Blue Mink and a Tibetan Blue Mink! They both have aqua eyes

This is the Natural point Tibetan. The same coloration as the Seal point Balinese but with the fun loving Tonkinese on the inside!

This is a Champagne point Tibetan. The same coloration as a Chocolate point Balinese but they often stay lighter on the body.

This is a Blue point Tibetan. Again, the color is like the Blue point Balinese. They will be lighter on the body than the Balinese.

This is a Platinum point Tibetan. Lighter than a Lilac Point Balinese on the body, but the points stay the same!

This is a Natural mink Tibetan. The Tibetan color. The light chocolate body with the dark chocolate points are the classic coloration for the Tibetan. Rarely, we have the Natural Solid coloration also! Note the jade eyes!

This is a Champagne mink Tibetan Lighter than the Natural mink, it is buff colored on the body and chocolate brown on the points. Look at those aqua colored eyes!

This is a Platinum mink Tibetan. Lighter than the blue mink, it is lavender grey colored on the body and dove grey on the points. Look at those jade colored eyes!

This is a Blue mink Tibetan. The body tends to a light slate grey and the points are a darker slate. The eyes are blue to green or somewhere in between!
