testimonials!

Dear Bill, Michelle, Katie & Abby:

I want to thank you all for providing this wonderful little kitten and for all your help!

Willow is absolutely delightful!  She’s sweet and good natured, purrs  almost constantly, and clearly loves being alive. I’ve told friends that the only way I know she is sleeping is that she’s stopped purring. But I wouldn’t be surprised if she actually purrs while she’s sleeping too. We’re developing a strong bond, and when I lie down on the floor, she comes over to me to get scratched or petted and rubs against me when I’m not doing either one.

Willow plays almost constantly when she’s not in my lap or sleeping. She’s adjusting to her new home fairly well and no longer has to sleep in the bathroom. I still keep her penned up in the library because the house is too big to let her loose yet. I hope I will be able to do that soon.

She has plenty of toys, but likes to play with cough drop wrappers and a sleep mask which are her discoveries, of course.

She had her first physical with my vet on Tuesday and passed with flying colors. My vet is going to do a test for heart worms, and I’ve ordered medication online to prevent them.

BTW, my veterinarian, Dr. Blake, thought that the fresh salmon diet as you suggested is a little too high in protein. She said that’s OK while she’s a kitten, but as she matures, I should back off on the salmon. She looked at both the Costco canned food and the dry food products you suggested and deemed them satisfactory.

I will probably make life a little easier for myself by using canned salmon and canned tuna instead of fresh salmon going forward. I have been cutting up and grinding the fresh salmon into a pate for my little baby. Of course I will supplement the fish with both canned and dry food. She’s eating very well and finishes the salmon and canned food mixture every day as well as eating some dry food.  She’s doing well with the litter box too.

I truly couldn’t be happier with this beautiful little kitten! Although she will never replace my beloved wife, of course, it sure helps to have this wonderful new distraction in the house!

Thank you all again so very much!- Donald W. Laukka, May 07, 2026

Years ago, we purchased four Tonkinese kitties from you, 3 kitties in 2007, and one kitty in 2008; and, previous to that, we purchased one of your retired breeding Tonkinese females, named Beauty. The last kitten we purchased from you in 2008, will be 18 years old on July 4th, and he is still a loving, precious boy, who lives with my son and his wife, in Alaska. I’ve always told people unfamiliar with the Tonkinese breed, that Tonkinese cats are a puppy dog in a cat suit, because they are super smart, they follow you around everywhere you go, they insist on being held constantly (which we LOVE), they give kisses, they play fetch, and they actually come when you call their name. They are not aloof like other cats. One of our Tonkinese cats actually learned how to open doors, by jumping up on the door, hanging on to the door knob, and twisting their body to open doors! One time, my husband and I had come home from shopping, and when we pressed the garage door opener, our dogs ran out of our garage door! Our “Sassy Kitty Girl,” one of our Tonkinese cats, had opened the entrance door from our house, to our attached garage, and left our dogs out! Imagine our shock, and surprise, to see our dogs come running out of our garage, when we had left them inside the house! We knew immediately that our “Sassy Kitty Girl,” had some fun while we were out shopping! I highly recommend Tonkinese cats for the pur-fect companion, and you’ll never have a dull moment, because they have amazing pur-sonalities! ♥️ – Linda Basile, June 01, 2025
